Emma Brown is a reporter at The Washington Post.

TO RAISE A BOY, out in March 2021, is her first book.

When #MeToo erupted in 2018, Emma Brown was home nursing her six-week-old baby, wondering how she would raise him to be different.

She carried this question with her as she traveled around the country throughout 2019, talking with all kinds of people — educators, parents, coaches, researchers, men, and boys — in effort to understand the challenges boys face and how to address them.

The result of her reporting is TO RAISE A BOY. You can order here.
